As a horse owner, you appreciate not only the beauty of horses but their value as well. You need to protect your investment by insuring against potential illness and injury.
Mortality
Often called life insurance for the horse, the mortality policy will pay if your horse dies as a result of a covered peril or is stolen. We place coverage with several different companies that offer different levels of coverage. For example, if you would prefer emergency colic coverage with your policy we have a company that will provide this. Most of our companies offer additional coverage options to their mortality policy including major medical, surgical, full and accidental loss of use and infertility. Our specialists will find the right program for you.
Major Medical
Major medical coverage is often referred to as health insurance for your horse and is offered as an endorsement to the mortality policy. This policy covers reasonable and customary veterinarian fees for medical and surgical treatment up to certain limits, either the limit specified in the policy or the level insured by the mortality policy, whichever is less.
